We're a family-owned business in Westchester County. We didn't start this company to maximize short-term profit. We started it to build floors that make people proud, that last for decades, and that our kids will be proud to maintain someday.
A 2-year warranty isn't just paperwork to us. It's a promise that backs every job we do. Here's why it matters and what it means for you.
Why Standing Behind Every Job Is a Core Value
Our founder has been in the construction business for 25 years. He's learned that reputation is everything. A homeowner tells two people about a great job. They tell ten people about a failed one.
We built this epoxy company on the premise that we would never cut corners, never use cheap materials, and never disappear if something went wrong. That commitment means our warranty is real. We actually stand behind it.
Other contractors offer warranties but they're printed on paper and never enforced. We honor ours because we expect our floors to perform.
What the 2-Year Warranty Covers
Our warranty covers material defects and installation defects for two years from the date of completion. That means if the epoxy fails due to a manufacturing flaw or if we made a mistake in prep, application, or system choice, we fix it at no charge.
It covers peeling, delamination, adhesion failure, premature wear, and soft spots that occur within two years. It covers cracks in the coating caused by poor base prep or incompatible coatings underneath.
What it doesn't cover: normal wear from use, accidents, chemical damage from substances we didn't specify, or failure caused by the homeowner applying incompatible topcoats or sealers without consulting us. Reasonable exclusions for the sake of clarity.
How to Make a Claim
It's simple. Call us. Send photos. Describe the issue. We schedule an inspection, at no charge, and assess whether it's warranty-covered. If it is, we fix it.
We've never had a customer fight with us over warranty coverage. When something goes wrong within two years of our work, we take responsibility and fix it. That's the point of the warranty: it's there for you if you need it.
Stories of Coming Back to Make Things Right
Year one, we installed a two-car garage floor for a couple in Scarsdale. Six months after installation, they noticed a soft spot in the corner near the sump pump. Turns out there was a moisture issue from a plumbing leak we hadn't known about.
We could have said, "That's not our problem, it's moisture from your house." Instead, we came back, identified the source with the homeowner, helped them fix the plumbing, sealed the concrete with a moisture-blocking primer, and re-coated the damaged area. No charge. That's warranty work.
Year two, another customer reported what looked like premature yellowing in a light-color epoxy. We investigated and found that he'd been using a certain furniture polish that was chemically incompatible with the topcoat. We taught him which products were safe, resealed the affected area with a UV-stable topcoat, and explained the issue. Again, no charge, because our warranty covers ensuring the floor performs as specified.
One customer in Stamford called a year into their installation reporting peeling at the edges. This was a tricky situation because it looked like it might be caused by water intrusion under the epoxy. Instead of questioning them, we came out, investigated, confirmed it was a prep issue on our end (we should have tested for moisture more carefully), and completely recoated the floor at no cost.
These aren't exceptions. They're the norm. We come back. We fix problems. We don't haggle over whether a warranty claim is "our fault." We ask ourselves: did we do everything in our power to give this customer the floor we promised? If the answer is no, we make it right.
Why a Warranty Is Only as Good as the Company Behind It
Warranties are only valuable if the company backing them is still around and willing to honor them. Some contractors have gone out of business two years after they sold floors. Some are unreachable if a problem arises.
We're here. We're local. You know where to find us. We answer our phone. If you have a warranty claim, you won't be fighting a distant corporation or trying to track down a contractor who's moved on.
Our warranty is backed by our name, our family reputation, and our commitment to Westchester County. It's personal. That's the difference.
The Real Test
The warranty covers year one and year two. But the real test of our work is years three, five, and ten, when you see that the floor is still performing, still looking great, and still holding up.
We're confident enough in our work that we're not worried about the first two years. We're thinking about the first twenty.
That confidence comes from using premium materials, proper preparation, skilled application, and honest warranties. It comes from choosing to stand behind every floor we build.
Let's build your floor. We'll guarantee it. And we'll be here to back that guarantee with our actions.
